AIRFRAMED is the blog or "front-end" for airframeregistry.com. While airframeregistry.com is in essence a registry of individual aircraft organized by production lists, AIRFRAMED is the "community" side of the project. Here at AIRFRAMED you will find posts about the progress at airframeregistry.com, updates, photos, and other information. Feel free to post your thoughts and ideas in response to any of the blog entries, or add a comment mentioning your favorite aircraft that you'd like to see listed on airframeregistry.com.
About airframeregistry.com
Airframeregistry.com is "Aircraft's Family Tree." As mentioned above, it is a web site devoted to compiling and publishing (or posting) production lists of aircraft. The basic layout includes: construction number, model, manufacture date, and any known registrations or serials. The current scope is civil, heavier-than-air, production aircraft. It may be of interest to include military aircraft in the future, but there are already excellent resources on military serials available.
